- Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao declared on Friday that the state’s 11.5 lakh acres of podu land will be distributed to tribal groups by the end of the month.
2-The Chief Minister KCR declared that the government will introduce the Girijana Bandhu programme for tribal members who were landless, similar to the Dalit Bandhu programme.
3 The Gutti Koyas are not from our states, according to the Chief Minister KCR. They originated in Chhattisgarh. He warned that they would decimate the woodlands if they were not stopped.

4-A leopard was killed in Telangana’s Nizamabad area after being struck by an unidentified fast-moving vehicle.
- The animal was reportedly crossing the road when it was struck by the car on a national highway close to Chandrayanpalli.
- Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary, which spans the districts of Nizamabad and Kamareddy, is renowned for its diverse range of wildlife, including more than 60 leopards.
5- The Battista, the fastest-accelerating electric vehicle in the world, was introduced on Thursday at the Hyderabad E-Motor Show.
- As the city prepares for the maiden Formula E Grand Prix of India on February 11, the all-electric hyper GT Battista was shown for the first time in India at the event held as part of the E-Mobility Week. This marks a significant milestone.

6-The Hyderabad E-Motor show is being held from February 8 to 10 at the Hitex Exhibition Centre. On a total of 10,500 square metres, manufacturers of commercial EVs, energy storage firms, charging infrastructure, EV components, and startups from these segments will be exhibiting their products.
7-Automotive giant Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. will expand its current production facilities at Zaheerabad in Telangana by building an electric car manufacturing facility.
- Mahindra & Mahindra will produce electric 3 and 4 wheelers at this cutting-edge plant as part of its Last Mile Mobility division.
8-On the eve of the inaugural Mobility Next Hyderabad Summit, the Telangana government inked an MoU for the establishment of a manufacturing facility with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
- The facility, according to the government, will cost around Rs. 1,000 crores to build and provide work for roughly 800-1,000 people.

9- R. Chandrasekhar, a former IAS officer and president of NASSCOM, received the HYSEA Lifetime achievement award.
- K.T. Rama Rao, the Minister of Information Technology for Telangana, gave Chandrasekhar the honour at the 30th HYSEA Annual Summit and Awards in 2023.
10-The 30th edition of the esteemed annual summit, which includes a conference, a product fair, and yearly industry awards, was organised by the Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA). This year’s conference used the slogan “Re-Imagine, Re-Think and Re-Build the Future” as its subject.
11- Y.S. Sharmila, the leader of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP), criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for “peddling lies inside the Assembly” on farmers receiving 24-hour power.
- She asserted that the farming community is becoming increasingly disgusted and displeased with the increased number of power outages.

12-On March 13, there will be biannual elections for the 15 seats on the legislative councils of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
- The schedule for the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council seats and the two Telangana Legislative Council seats was released by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
13-Participating at the three-day E-Motor event at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad are 13 leading auto/component firms, including Apollo, Mahindra, Amara Raja, Citroen, TVS, ETO Motors, Ola, MG Motor, Switch Mobility, Piaggio, BYD, Hyundai, and ZF.

15-The development of cutting-edge automotive technology, such as ADAS, digital cockpit solutions, V2X connection, and automotive cybersecurity, is spearheaded by Hyderabad in India. The Hyderabad E-Motor Show will establish itself as the industry-leading venue for automakers to introduce and display their next-generation EV vehicles in the years to come “said KTR.
16-A government motion urging the Center to add a few backward castes to the list of Scheduled Tribes was unanimously approved by the Telangana Assembly (STs).
- The resolution to add the Valmiki Boyas, Pdda Boyas, Khaiti Lambadas, Mali Saha Bedar, Kirataka, Nishadi, Bhat Mathura, Chamar Mathura, Chunduwals, and Thalayari castes to the list of STs was proposed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
