1-According to sports expert Aman Dhall’s post-budget analysis, India needs to invest ten times as much in sport science and research as it currently does in order to foster a sports culture that encourages healthy eating, regular exercise, and the pursuit of excellence through deliberate planning.

2-After Tuesday’s 1-3 loss to Nepal at the Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, the India U-20 Women’s National Team has been eliminated from competition.

3- On Friday in Bhubaneswar, the 76th National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy will begin.

  • The first game, pitting the defending champions Kerala against the Goa, kicks off at 9 AM IST at the Capital Football Arena.

4-Many former players from the state feel that this long due honour will do much more for the beautiful game in the state as a result of the Federation’s decision to host the Tri-Nation Friendly Football Tournament in Imphal from March 22-26. 14-In the most recent ICC Women’s T20 rankings, released on Tuesday, Smriti Mandhana, the opener for India, remained in the top three while Deepti Sharma, an all-rounder, fell one spot.
