- Mahatma Gandhi attended Samaldas Arts College and graduated from there. Three years after the college’s founding in 1885, in January 1888, he enrolled there. It was the second college in the state and the first in the Saurashtra region.

12- On Tuesday, the trustees of a school for blind children in Bhavnagar suspended two students and demanded an apology from ten more for reportedly beating up two other kids from the same school on the suspicion that they had stolen money from their backpacks.

14- A gurukul’s principal Piyush Savaliya has been arrested on grounds of physically and verbally harassing a student in the 12th grade named Uday Kalasiya for singing the Telugu song “Ramuloo” in class. On December 22, the tragedy took place at the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul in Tarvada Amreli.
15- On Monday, a court in Gujarat’s Kheda sent seven suspects who attacked and killed BSF trooper Melaji Vaghela on Saturday night and injured his son to judicial prison.
