1-In a further setback for the Pinarayi Vijayan administration, the Kerala High Court affirmed Governor Arif Mohammed Khan’s nomination of Dr. Ciza Thomas as the in-charge vice chancellor of the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) on Tuesday.

2-Even though a portion of the local population has been protesting the construction of the Vizhinjam port in Thiruvananthapuram for the past 134 days, state ports minister Ahamed Devarkovil firmly stated that the first ship will dock in the port in September 2023.

3-A Kerala woman who works as a freelancer for a company is believed to have been the victim of a gang rape in Bengaluru. Three people, including one member of the fairer sex, have been detained in connection with this case.

4-A delegation headed by a senior CPI(M) official is scheduled to visit Gujarat’s Banas Diary in Palanpur to observe its cutting-edge features and the advancements made in Kerala’s diary industry.

5-The state government has given permission for Gopi Kottamurikel, chairman of the Kerala Bank and a member of the 5-CPI(M) state committee, and a seven-person team to travel to Gujarat to examine the advanced features of the diary and to investigate the value adds being made.
