20-Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has flagged off historic Guwahati-Dhaka flight from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.

21-Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said Private schools should admit 25% of students from weaker sections.


22-West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced July 12 to be observed as ‘Save water Day’.


23-Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the 550th Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev function on November 12 at Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab.


24- The Central government has launched ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ on the lines of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.

* Jal Shakti Abhiyan- It is a campaign for water conservation and water security.
