* It is the world’s 1st-ever mission for making a soft landing on the Moon’s south polar region.

* GSLV MkIII-M1 was the powerful launcher.

* Chandrayaan-2’s lander is ‘Vikram’ that will execute the soft landing on the Moon. It will land near the South Pole of the moon on Sep 7, 2019.

* Pragyan rover will communicate with it.

* ISRO has launched Chandrayaan-1 on October 22, 2008, from Sriharikota.


16-The manufacture, sale, and distribution of antibiotic, Colistin has been banned by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
