Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday unveiled a mobile app to streamline the selection of beneficiaries for the Indiramma Housing Scheme.
The app will facilitate the identification of eligible candidates starting Friday, as officials visit villages for application verification.
In the first phase, Rs 5 lakh assistance will be provided to poor beneficiaries owning land for house construction.
The second phase targets landless poor, offering both a housing site and financial assistance.
The Chief Minister emphasized prioritizing marginalized groups such as Dalits, tribals, and others.
Revanth Reddy also highlighted the legacy of Indira Gandhi’s efforts to uplift the poor through housing initiatives.
