Rohan Jaitley Defeats Kirti Azad in DDCA Presidential Race
Rohan Jaitley, the incumbent president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), has won his second consecutive term by defeating former cricketer and Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad.
In a closely contested election, Rohan Jaitley secured 1,577 votes, while Kirti Azad managed 777 votes. Jaitley, son of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley, led his group to a sweeping victory, winning all key DDCA posts.
For the vice-presidential seat, Shikha Kumar won with 1,246 votes, defeating Rakesh Kumar Bansal and Sudhir Kumar Agarwal. Jaitley was previously elected unopposed in 2020 after his sole opponent withdrew.
Rohan Jaitley’s re-election as DDCA president cements his leadership in Delhi cricket administration.
