14-Reigning world champion PV Sindhu is out of the All England Open semi-finals. She lost to Thailand’s Porpawee Chochuwong in straight games in Birmingham.

15-Yang Jiayu of China has smashed women’s world 20km race walk record at the Chinese Race Walking Championships in Huangshan (China).

16-Afghanistan’s Asghar Afghan broke MS Dhoni’s record of most T20I wins.

17-Indian women’s football team to play two friendly matches against host Uzbekistan and Belarus on April 5 and 8 respectively.
