Royal Challengers Bangalore showcased commanding form in their IPL 2025 campaign with a sweeping nine-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Delivering a performance that highlighted their strength across departments, RCB added another convincing victory to their record this season.
Rajasthan Royals, after electing to bat first, set a target of 174 runs with a final score of 173 for 4 in 20 overs. Royal Challengers Bangalore responded emphatically, chasing down the target in just 17.3 overs while losing only one wicket.
The victory was built on a stellar top-order display. Opener Phil Salt led the charge with a blistering 65 off 33 balls, hitting five boundaries and six sixes. He was the only batsman dismissed. Virat Kohli followed with a composed 62 runs off 45 deliveries, including four boundaries and two sixes. Devdutt Padikkal remained not out with 40 runs from 28 balls, which featured five boundaries and one six.
Among Rajasthan’s bowling lineup, Jofra Archer was the lone wicket-taker.
