Teen Golfer Anshul Mishra Wins Prestigious Golf Title
Kolkata teenager Anshul Mishra etched his name in history by winning the 123rd All-India Amateur Golf Championship held at Chandigarh Golf Club.
In the championship final, 16-year-old Anshul Mishra defeated Varun Muthappa 4 & 3 after a gripping 36-hole match. The All-India Amateur Golf Championship, one of the world’s oldest events, showcased emerging talent.
Previous winner Shubhankar Sharma, now a renowned golfer, was present to witness the event. Mishra, who began training at Royal Calcutta Golf Course, now works under coach Jesse Grewal and aims for US college-level golf.
